Simple Flora Pendant, Snake Chain, Three Colors, Silver, Gold, Rose with Oxidized Sterling Silver, Origami Folding technique

Inspiration 

• The Flora Collection is one of my most beloved studio series - a fusion of organic beauty and quiet mathematical elegance. Each piece begins as a flat sheet of metal that’s folded, shaped, and refined in an origami‑inspired process, creating petal‑like forms that echo the patterns found throughout nature. Every curve, ridge, and line is shaped by hand in my Corning, NY studio, giving each bead its own subtle personality and textural charm.
• The One Flora Bead Necklace is the purest expression of this collection. A single sculptural bead rests on a smooth snake chain, allowing the wearer to appreciate its form without distraction — a small, wearable piece of art that feels both organic and modern, elegant and timeless. Lightweight, easy to style, and designed for everyday wear, it’s a beautiful introduction to the Flora series.

Materials/Size

• Each bead is hand fabricated in sterling silver sheet, then plated with rhodium (platinum alloy for anti-tarnishing), 24k gold (as bright yellow orange as possible), and rose gold (soft rose tone that goes with the floral form), and oxidized for blackened finish. Then the plated pieces are reassembled with oxidized pieces for half and half color versions. 
• Small: 1/2" diameter, Medium: 5/8" diameter 
• Chain length options: 16" ,18" and 20".

Care Instructions

• Plated sections are carefully coated with clear lacquer for protection. No excessive cleaning necessary. A warm soapy water with soft brush (toothbrush etc.) is enough. 
• In the nature of oxidized finishes, it is normal for the blackened finish to rub off over time, especially on rings. We consider it to be a part of "weathering", but it is possible to refinish the blackened surface. Please inquire via email at info@314studio.com.
